Shopping online with IBEX Camping - eco friendly packing , we're making changes

Here at IBEX Camping , being an online retailer we are becoming ever more conscious on the need for eco friendly packing. We're trying hard to work on this and are trying to replace our existing packing with a more environmentally friendly option as it needs replacing... 

Since September we have introduced Sugar Cane Mailing bags to replace 2 of our sizes already , we're adding a 3rd very soon. 

These eco Friendly Mailing bags are made from Sustainably sourced Sugar cane and are carbon Neutral  - The Carbon dioxide taken from the atmosphere in the growing  process offsets the carbon dioxide emitted through production and transport. They are also fully recyclable. 

Thanks to the team @ Kite Packaging for supplying this great alternative to traditional plastic mailing bags , we're looking forward to adding more sizes as soon as we need to! 

Another change we made over the summer months was to have our parcel flyers printed on recycled and fully Recyclable made from 350gsm card with all the information you need to introduce us plus a voucher code too!

Can I hire a tent for New Wine? : IBEX Camping

We've missed our events so much this Summer , with them being cancelled due to the Outbreak , we are though so pleased that many of our regular events are now starting to take bookings for 2021 , a little sign that we may be starting to return to a slightly different but more normal times. 

We are now taking bookings for NewWine 2021 at The East of England Arena in Peterborough, this will be our second year offering ready pitched tent hire to guest. New Wine is split over 2 weeks each comprising of 6 days. 

• Week A - 24 - 29th July 2021
• Week B - 30 - 4th August 2021 

An new for 2021 The SixtyOne youth event 

• Sixty One - 5 - 8th August 2021. 

Having spent many years pitching tents for our lovely customers at The East of England Arena , previously with Faith Camp we are extremely familiar with the showground and take extra care with pitching to ensure an enjoyable stay. 

The East of England Arena is renowned for it's little microclimate we've witnessed some quite dramatic weather and glorious sunsets over the years, if you attended NewWine 2019 we're  sure you'll remember it was a little damp too! 

How does our event tent hire work? you can either choose your hire tent from our range on the website , pop it in your basket & follow the checkout instructions - there's no need to send us a payment - simply enter your delivery address or add to the notes 'NewWine21'. We'll then have everything we need to check availability and pop across your quotation.  

Once your happy we just need a 10% deposit to secure your booking with us. 

Not sure or need a little advice , simply pop over a tent hire enquiry , chat with The team or email ... we're also here to take your call. Our family team of experienced campers will talk through your requirements and make some suggestions for you.

When will my tent be pitched? A little closer to NewWine we'll be in touch to take the details of your Village Hosts , we'll then liaise with them directly to make sure your tent is perfectly pitched. We usually pop over to Peterborough a few days before your start date. 

What about Covid? hopefully things will be a little more settled next summer , but if not we are operating a COVID safe booking policy , we'll refund any payments received  if you need to cancel due to  Local/National Lockdowns , COVID symptoms or the cancellation of New Wine due to COVID restrictions.

Year 6 Residential 2021 - Can we help?

As we start the new school year we have been approached by a few schools looking to create a residential experience for their year six pupils. Everyone remembers their year 6 Residential , very often being a chance to experience something new or even the first time staying away from the Family Home. So we've popped our thinking caps on and have created a package just for schools. Our idea is based around Bell Tents , these offer something a little different and a new experience to the family camping children may have enjoyed with their families. 

Our Bell Tents are available in 2 sizes , sleeping up to 6. Made from Canvas our Bell Tents offer a unique camping experience which combined with some wild camping or bushcraft activities will offer a unique and memorable Onsite Residential Camping Experience. 

We can offer the tents on a supply only basis or we can send our team to pitch too!

Over the winter months we'll also be adding a Stretch tent to our hire range, specifically with schools in mind , this will offer a communal space for your outdoor challenges and activities. 

We'll only be charging for the days you use the tents , allowing you to socially distance and leave to quarantine for a little while,  if your school has more than one group to create an experience for. 

Need a few extras? we are more than happy to offer discounted prices on sleeping mats or sleeping bags for your parents , we'll choose mats and sleeping bags that will be useful for DofE too so will have a further use for years to come. 

COVID safe booking , Secure your booking with just a 10% Fully refundable deposit with the balance to pay 7 days prior to your booking.
